What fitness level should I be in for the course?

There is no certain fitness level that you need have to be able to enrol in a beginner freediving course. As long as you can swim comfortably in open water, you have what it takes!

A good fitness benchmark for the beginner courses is that you should be able to swim 200 meter unassisted without any set time as a target. If you can do this in open water, you are good to go.

In case you are unsure or not feeling well while you’re in the water with us, just let us know so that we can assess if you can safely freedive. We are your freediving family here, so we want you to be safe and sound while enjoying your first steps into the world of freediving.
