The Freedive Academy Panglao, a premier freediving school located in beautiful Panglao, Philippines, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Instructor who is certified by – or ready to cross over to SSI, Molchanovs, or AIDA. The successful candidate will join our dedicated team and contribute to the growth and development of our freediving community.
In this full-time position, you will teach the regular beginner, advanced and master freediving courses and provide support to the academy master instructor in guiding the master freedivers in our freediving training program.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality freediving courses, workshops, and coaching sessions in accordance with the standards and guidelines of your certifying agency (SSI, Molchanovs, or AIDA)
Develop and implement personalized training plans for students of all skill levels
Mentor and guide instructors and instructors in training
Assist in the organization and execution of local freediving events, competitions, and workshops
Collaborate with the management team to develop and improve course curriculums and materials
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, staff, and visitors
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive relationship with the freediving community
Help promote the academy’s services and programs through social media and other marketing channels
Requirements:
Current certification as a Master Instructor from preferably SSI, Molchanovs, or AIDA – or ready to cross over to these agencies.
Proven experience in teaching freediving courses at various skill levels
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Commitment to safety and adhering to industry standards and protocols
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Fluent in English (additional language skills are a plus)
