The Two Different Counter Ballast Systems
Counter ballast systems aren’t used by everyone in freediving – or even useful for everyone. Usually, only deep divers, dive centers, or competition organizers use counter ballast systems.
The Freedive Academy Panglao offers two systems for sale. The inflatable SUP type is from 2b Free, and Apneautic developed the carbon system. If you are interested in a system, don’t hesitate to contact us first before ordering online since we often sell them as attractive packages with freediving rope, bottom plate, and weight straps.
