The Best Rubber and Silicone Freediving Weight Belts
Diving weight belts come in 3 different materials; Silicone, Rubber and Nylon. Freedivers do not use nylon weight belts. They are fine for scuba diving since they are more durable, stronger and thus can carry more weights. But because they don’t stretch – and freediving wetsuits shrink while diving – they can’t be used for freediving.
We selected what we believe are some of the best freediving weight belts in rubber and silicone materials. Our rubber freediving weight belts are somewhat cheaper and can have a rubber smell which some may find unpleasant, while our best selling belts are the silicone freediving weight belts which are more durable and look a bit nicer because of their smooth finish.
The stylish Double K silicone freediving weight belt has a smooth finish, a length of 130cm, and is built to outlast all others! The freediving weight belt is made of very durable silicone with a stainless steel high-quality buckle.
The silicone material of the weight belt is, amongst others, resistant to UV and saltwater. This silicone is also slightly more elastic than rubber, and this belt has just the right amount of stretch and holds power for superb comfort and a good fit while diving.
This high-quality silicone freediving weight belt is made of a highly durable, micro-elasticity and anti-slip silicone material with a marine-grade stainless steel 316 buckle. Shrinking of the wetsuit because of pressure at depth isn’t an issue anymore since this freediving weight belt is highly flexible and will stay in place at any time.
This silicon weight belt has a smooth finish, looks beautiful and is resistant to saltwater, UV and is strong and resistant against normal wear-and-tear.
Beauty, comfort and durability make this silicone freediving weight belt a must-have weight belt for every freediver.
The Dive King Silicone freediving weight belt has an overall length of 130cm and is made from a high-grade silicone with a coated marine-grade stainless steel 316 buckle and is available in 5 beautiful colours.
The V Dive rubber freediving weight belt has an overall length of 150cm and is made from a high-grade elastic and durable rubber, comes in 9 different colours with a marine-grade stainless steel 316 buckle.
This is a nice, strong and durable rubber weight belt that doesn’t break the bank. With an overall length of 137cm, this freediving weight belt is the perfect belt for those among us who demand a weight belt made of high-quality rubber and stainless steel materials for a nice price.
The Molchanovs Core Silicone Weight Belt offers flexibility, durability, and a secure fit for all freedivers. Made from non-slip silicone, it resists saltwater, UV rays, and extreme temperatures while staying comfortable during long dives. The integrated Marseille buckle prevents loss and ensures a dependable, low-maintenance experience.
Level 1, 2 and 3 SSI then 3 months of master training and I've loved it. The academy is a great place to learn and train. Poolside is very chill and relaxed yet focused and knowledgeable with all the trainers and masters. You can very much be focused on your own goals and train at your own pace! Then the line diving at Napaling reef is fantastic.
The staff are super helpful and friendly as well. I've loved my time here and hope I can come again!

The fun dive trip was amazing. Had a good time with the guide. Absolutely coming again if there'a a chance to go to Bohol another time.

Unbeatable location. Training atmosphere is also very good. Friendly, supportive and approachable. If you’re thinking about getting one of the freediving certificates like me, this is one of the best places to do it.
If you’re interested in no fins at all, I would start with molchanovs. I got my Aida 3 cert before coming here for wave a 3 course and I would’ve been better off had I done a molchanovs wave 2 instead of Aida 3. Because molchanovs introduces no fins early on and you’ll save time during later levels. There are other differences too but no fins is the main one for me.
My instructor is Scott. I really appreciate his views on long term diving journey and focus on solving issues instead of the number (in his words, if you solve the problems, the numbers will come naturally). I’m thankful that he calmed my anxiety of meeting the level requirements.
Last but not least, big thanks to Emily who orchestrated our trainings and gave many useful info about diving, places to eat, recommended activities during rest (no diving) day. 多谢!后会有期🫶

I had a really great time doing my AIDA2 and AIDA 3 course here. The instructor was super clear and easy to learn from. Communication was great from start to finish.
The location is perfect, right by Napaling, so we could just walk out and dive straight in—no long boat rides or complicated logistics. They also had a lot of gear available, and I ended up buying most of my equipment directly from them, which was really convenient.
I was solo traveling, and the whole team made me feel really welcome. Emily, the owner, was especially helpful—she made sure everything ran smoothly and was always around to help out or answer questions. Everyone at the center was friendly and supportive, which made a big difference. Not to mention Jay, the super cute dog in the shop, he literally look like a chunky potato. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking to learn freediving in a beautiful location with great people.

We did the one day introduction to free diving and had a brilliant day. Our instructor Jamari was patient and clear - the classroom sessions were really interesting and the pool sessions built our confidence. In the afternoon open water session we practiced what we had learned and were really pleased with what we managed to do. Would love to come back for longer another time, and do Level 1. Thoroughly excellent experience and will be enjoying snorkelling even more now.

I & my boyfriend took 2 days coaching course with “Olga” the great instructor! She has super fun personality and she gave us “to the point” feedbacks to improve our Constant weight no fins dive. We felt improved a lot in these 2 days thanks to her. She is a great instructor. Also we stayed at “Backhouse” and our stay was so comfortable. The place has everything you need. There is also a 25 meters pool where you can train dynamic or static apnea. We had chance to train in the pool by our own. Additionally, all the people working at Freedive Academy Panglao are super kind and helpful. We really felt at home thanks to them. I hope everyone can have chance to train and accommodate here. We would love to come back again and train with the Academy!

Probably the highlight of our trip. Swimmers and non-swimmers will have a blast. We are a family of four and we're provided with 2guides and 2 go pros. My only complaint is there are limited choices of fins and even very limited goggles. My daughter's goggles keep fogging up and me& hubby's keep getting filled with water no matter how tight they are.

I had an amazing and memorable experience. I and my friends booked for snorkeling. As soon as we arrived at the academy we were assisted by the friendly staff and drive to the diving/snorkeling spot. There’s a huge school of sardines, other fishes, and beautiful coral reefs. The competent staff ensured our safety as we swim and they are also taking photos and videos. I highly recommend them and would like to try diving on our next visit.
