The Best Rubber and Silicone Freediving Weight Belts
Diving weight belts come in 3 different materials; Silicone, Rubber and Nylon. Freedivers do not use nylon weight belts. They are fine for scuba diving since they are more durable, stronger and thus can carry more weights. But because they don’t stretch – and freediving wetsuits shrink while diving – they can’t be used for freediving.
We selected what we believe are some of the best freediving weight belts in rubber and silicone materials. Our rubber freediving weight belts are somewhat cheaper and can have a rubber smell which some may find unpleasant, while our best selling belts are the silicone freediving weight belts which are more durable and look a bit nicer because of their smooth finish.
