Mares is one of the global leaders in the manufacturing of state-of-the-art scuba and freediving equipment. They are part of the Head group famous for golf and tennis equipment. In 2014 Mares acquired Scuba Schools International (SSI) and is now, besides being a global scuba equipment brand, one of the leaders in progressive scuba and freediving courses.
The Freedive Academy Panglao is an SSI Instructor Training center and we are running SSI Freediving courses, specialities and workshops almost every day.
