I came to Panglao to visit friends and continue my freediving training, completing one dive with Paulo and six with Thor and Livia (not including a few pool sessions). Hands down, these were some of the best sessions I've ever had. The conditions in Panglao are incredible. Because deep water is so close to shore, the swell is usually minimal. Just a 30-meter swim puts you right at a 50-meter drop-off, and a bit further out it goes past 70 meters I've been told (well beyond my current limits!). On my first dive of the week, Paulo gave me super helpful equalisation advice to help me get back into the groove after more than a year away from line diving. In just one day, his calm, reflective feedback helped me relax and progress far further than I expected. The next 5 dives with Livia and Thor were nothing short of magical. Their focus on relaxation above all else made incorporating their feedback on my technique feel gradual and natural. We systematically worked through small improvements I could make with every dive while keeping every session genuine fun. I never felt rushed and was able to really lean into enjoying the dive, the fish and the reef around while getting better at my dives. Thanks to Paulo, Livia and Thor, I actually ticked off most of my Wave 3 requirements, far exceeding what I thought I could achieve during my time in Panglao.

Was on a solo trip and so far my freedive experience previously was only at the pool session, so I wanted to give a try at open water terrain and among the options available, this store is definitely a good choice with experienced staffs in terms of coordination, experienced dive guide who know how to bring you around Napaling dive site, advisory on my posture, breathing reminder and able to take great videos on your dive moment. For sure will visit them again when I'm back to Panglao for Freedive

I cannot comment on their Freediving programs as I haven’t done any, but when it comes to gear or things to fix your Freediving gear or your set up, they have a wide range of inox stuff, carabiners, floaters, noodles, etc. Very friendly stuff as well.

台灣的朋友！ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 非常推薦！這次是一個人的女生旅行，我選擇了這家的行程。雖然價格不是最便宜，但我認為絕對是最值得的！很幸運的是，當天只有我一位客人，因此直接變成了一對一的私人行程，體驗真的非常棒。教練(Rashid)非常專業、有耐心又溫柔，會一步一步地帶領你，過程中也一直給予鼓勵，時時刻刻確認狀態，讓人很有安全感。雖然我會游泳，但還是先選擇了適合不會游泳的行程。教練會先確認你的狀況是否適合，之後如果你想挑戰，也可以自行決定是否脫下救生衣。整個浮潛過程中，教練都會一直待在你的視線範圍內，完全不用擔心安全問題。如果想嘗試下潛，教練也會陪著你一起完成。另外，教練還會一路幫忙拍照、錄影，留下很多漂亮的照片和影片，真的很加分！因為時間安排的關係，原本還想加購其他行程，可惜沒有時間體驗。下次再來薄荷島，我一定還會再找他們安排其他行程，真心推薦給大家！

I had a great experience with the instructors. I began my beginner AIDA 2 course with Paolo who was very skilled in surfacing the educational info we needed without overwhelming us. He was good at adjusting his teaching to our various learning styles. Unfortunately, we discovered that my autism was severely impacting my ability to progress with the pool & open air certification. This is where Livia and Tor stepped in. Livia worked with me to help me understand connections between mindfulness and free diving performance. Livia's focus is on divers with special needs (disabled, children, and female bodies). She helped me keep calm in and around the ocean during my autistic meltdowns. Tor is focused on neurodivergent divers. Tor helped me better understand my mind-body connection. Together, we were able to decode the confusing signals and delayed processing I was experiencing within my body. In our time together we doubled my swim performance in the pool within 24 hours. Paolo, Livia, and Tor unofficially worked together to create a "care team" for me to help me excel at my personal best. Without their collaboration, I would not have passed my test & pool certification. Highly recommend each of them depending on your unique needs.

Just completed my 2.5-day Beginner Freediving Course with @freediveacademyph and I’m absolutely in love! 🌊 From theory sessions to pool training and open water dives surrounded by the breathtaking underwater world of Panglao Island — this experience was pure magic. I’ve discovered a new passion that I know I’ll be pursuing for a long time. Huge thanks to the amazing instructor Livia Lima and her husband for the incredible teaching, constant feedback, and such a warm, friendly vibe. Couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to this beautiful sport! 🤿💙
