Safety in freediving should always be the number one priority and this is the main purpose of freediving lanyards. Lanyards are attached to the wrist, ankle or waist connected to the training line so that you are always connected to the line when you go up and down, and in case of emergency you can easily be lifted up to the surface.
In 2013 Alexander Bubenchikov started to experiment with different styles, designs, and materials to make a good lanyard for him to use. At the beginning of 2015 he created a model that satisfied him, but he still continued on improving it and made a really great lanyard which are now highly appreciated by the world’s top freediving athletes. The lanyards are made attentively even to the smallest detail and are made with the highest standards of quality and safety.

We have 2 types of 2b Free Freediving Lanyards which are handmade and both are very strong, extremely light, and cause minimum drag underwater. These freediving lanyards are made of high quality materials for durability, and of course for diver’s safety and convenience.
The technical specifications of the freediving lanyards
The first type is the lanyard with swivel. The lanyard is extremely light and is the lightest lanyard in the world with only 58 grams in 1 meter. It has aluminum climbing carabiner, stainless steel swivel, 4cm quick release wrist lock, and 1.5mm stainless steel cable. During your diving you won’t feel that you’re using this ultra light lanyard.
The second type is the lanyard with quick release carabiner. It is also very light having a weight of 126 grams with a small stainless steel quick release carabiner with swivel. It also has a professional aluminium climbing carabiner, 4cm quick release wrist lock, and 1.5mm special stainless steel cable. You can use this lanyard with CNF belt or wrist/ankle lock.
There are 6 different colours you can choose from, Silver, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, and Blue.
