Description
The Double K Silicone Freediving Weight Belt
The weight belt is a standard piece of equipment for freediving and is, of course, used to regulate the freedivers buoyancy while carrying a freediving wetsuit. This basically means that your wetsuit floats and makes you float, while the weights on the weight belt are heavy, help you sink and make you neutrally buoyant at depth. With a wetsuit but without the extra weights, you would struggle to swim down and stay down. The freediver weight belt is worn on the hips so it will stay there while doing duck dives so that it stays in position when diving down and doesn’t interfere with abdominal breathing.
The silicone freediving weight belt is built to outlast all others!
The Double K freediving weight belt has a smooth, shiny finish, a length of 130cm, and is made of very durable silicone with a stainless steel high-quality buckle.
The silicone material has the advantages of being resistant to UV, ozone, heat, salt, chlorine and solvents. Silicone is also slightly more elastic than rubber, and this belt has just the right amount of stretch and holds power for superb comfort and a good fit.
