Description
The Lelang Freediving Safety Lanyard
Every line-diving freediver needs a safety lanyard to connect themselves to the freediving rope – after all, you need to be safe in case of an emergency. But freediving lanyards come in many different shapes, designs and especially in different price categories.
Lelang is taking the Asian market by storm by developing top-level freediving gear like their bifins bag. They made their freediving gear with high-quality materials while still offering them with an affordable price.
The competition-grade freediving lanyard can be used on the wrist or ankle depending on your preference and can easily be used for all depth freediving disciplines.
The Lelang freediving lanyards are made by freedivers for freedivers. They are robust and ideal for training, competitions and for diving to great depths. These freediving lanyards are made of durable high-quality materials for diver’s safety and convenience.
The quick-release/snap shackle is made of marine-grade 316 stainless steel and so is the 316 stainless steel marine-grade 3mm cable. The outer diameter of the cable is 4.5mm which makes the lanyard one of the nicer and more robust and more durable lanyards out there. The stainless steel 316 marine grade spring carabiner makes the total length of the freediving lanyard about 100cm.
The strap, the cable and connectors, the swivel Lelang absolutely over-delivers and for us, it’s most certainly the go-to freediving lanyard.
