Molchanovs Silicone Bifins
Only just recently added to the Molchanovs products are the silicone bifins. From the moment Molchanovs sent out the newsletter and launched the freediving fins, they have been incredibly popular!
The new core silicone bifins are the ideal training fins for all levels of freedivers, but they are especially recommended for those joining a beginner freediving course. Molchanovs even recommends using these silicone fins before starting with ‘normal’ freediving fins.
Whether you are a beginner, an instructor or an elite freediver, we train with certain objectives. Whether this is developing symmetry in your kicking, building up efficiency, strength or something completely different doesn’t matter. Having specific training fins helps freedivers concentrate on forming the perfect foundation of technique, which will optimize efficiency later on in performances with longer blades.
The Molchanovs Silicone Bifins are made of a special grade silicone, ensuring a comfortable fit and efficient operation in any water temperature. Their famous carbon freediving bifins inspire the unique design: the blade shape, foot pocket, arch support, and open heel. All were created to provide the highest efficiency level with minimal effort, whether used for distance in the pool or depth in open water.
The Molchanovs Core Silicone Bifins material is hypoallergenic and UV-resistant with the Molchanovs minimalistic design. They can accommodate both narrow and wide feet due to the flexibility of the silicone. The arch support keeps feet in the optimal position during kick cycles to provide maximum efficiency, while the open-heel design is anatomically designed for a comfortable fit. The blade features eight stabilizing rails with a specific curvature profile and stiffness distribution, making the CORE Silicone Bifins more efficient with the least amount of effort.
Whether you are a beginner or a competitive freediver, an instructor teaching a freediving course, or an underwater photographer – you will love the silicone fins for your training, work and fun dives!
When available, please always use the sizing tables of the manufacturer. We compiled a shoe and feet size conversion chart with the international standards in shoe and feet sizes as an additional reference. When still in doubt, please feel free to contact us at any time. Thank you!
